Villahangar launch a new project, that enriches its Podcast and Live Youtube formats:
a compilation composed by tracks of different artists,
with the evocative name Various Artists “Underwater”.
As a result of a careful and wise scouting work thanks to the constant monitoring of all the musical panorama, “Underwater” aims to bring out and make protagonists the most interesting producers of today, among new talents and names already known and established:
Double Drop, Deckert, Sound Shapes, Diass, Nina Simmons, Matizze and Socko.
An important project, intentionally niche, that arises as the auspicious first step of many new collaborations. With the goal to give importance and visibility by converging people, open minds, individual characteristics and artistic directions, in order to support each other also having fun and leaving space in full creative freedom to different genres and sub-genres such as Deep House, Organic House, Afro House, Melodic Deep, for a multi-cultural compilation with an ethnic and very organic taste.
A lineup carefully realized with the aim to tell an emotional and unforgettable story exploring more soft and slow tracks, perfect for the clubs in a full Covid-19 global pandemic, to then move to the ones more fit to move the energy to the dancefloor.
Thus the journey becomes involving starting from the genius of the African Double Drop in the track “Nguvu” – with his particular afro and groove sounds for the dance floor killer – and from the berliner Deckert with “Imposter the Syndrome” and his infinite musical influences, that from the bass player enriches his sweet and sensual deep house track.
Then move on to the italian Sound Shapes, between Organic, Deep and Afro House with marked club groove and the sound of the Tembour, which gives the track its title, and the bulgarian Diass with “Mount Athos”. He is already star at home, lover of Downtempo and of the ethnic world, now focused on more fast and dance floor fit productions.
And here we are at a slower rhythm thanks to “Raksat” by the Turin duo of musicians Nina Simmons, with an ethnic and joyful sound. Then it comes to “Siddhartha” by Matizze, the artist with an euphoric soul able to create captivating atmospheres thanks to an ethnic, fast and cheerful sound, also devoted to Downtempo. They lead towards the final with Socko and his track “Gamma”, with also an ethnic and rich of sounds style, that starting from a predilection for melancholic melodies this time dedicated himself to more electronic sonorities with great energy and character.
