For Today’s new Villahangar MusicInTheAir Podcast, Tania Moon, Dj from Valecia, Spain, who chose to live in Ibiza, returns.

Ranging from the most delicate deep house to the most carefully selected techno, she loves to build every DJ set, always different, with great care, in order to make it unique and perfect for the context. As a lover of electronic music of all kinds, also listening to pop and rock, she arrived in the world of electronic music at the age of 15 and debuted at the cymbals in 2009.

Over time she consolidated her career playing in numerous international clubs, and in clubs, parties and festivals in Ibiza and in Spain, – she was resident of “So Cool” at Ibiza’s Pacha and Lio Ibiza, and she performed at the Lovin Ibiza Festival and at the South Moon Festival.

She has thus refined her style more and more making it completely personal, and coming to distinguish herself for a refined attention to the novelties of the music scene supporting talent and great courage in innovation and experimentation, in which she loves to involve her audience.

She has long presented with Cristina Molina the radio program “Ecoama Djs Radio Show”. An appointment always very long waited that today airs on Pure Ibiza Radio every Tuesday from 7pm to 8pm.

She was part of the Privilege World Tour Booking, which she had to stop due to the pandemic. But she is ready to start again, with new energy and enthusiasm: if everything goes well this summer we will be able to listen to her in Ibiza at Sa Trinxa and at 7Pines, as well as at some locations still to be confirmed.

At the moment, besides dedicating herself to music and her family, she is an ethically and socially engaged woman: she devotes much of her time to activism and is part of the Extinction Rebellion movement.

But she’s obviously very tied to the first DJ set she recorder. In fact, she says: “This is the track I chose to finish the first set I ever recorded”.

Even becoming a dj resident at Ibiza’s Pacha, one of the many achievements of her career, is an experience that is not to be forgotten. She explains: “This is the track I selected to close my DJ set the first time I played at Ibiza’s Pacha”.

In the world of electronic music from a very young age, at fifteen, she then started playing in 2009, and then moved to Ibiza in 2011. A track that is part of the memories dearest to her when she still did not live on the island. She says: “This track is part of the memories of my holidays in Ibiza in 2007, and I later used it several times in different sets of mine”.

With this piece, from the world of the past and memories, with the tracks that are most representative and able to evoke special moments of her life and career, we arrive in more recent times, with a look at the present projected towards the future.
