Cloud’s Song EP

For Summer 2021 Villahangar releases CLOUD’S SONG EP
of one of its founders, Matt Sawyer.

Italian, the artist has released on other labels such as Solomun’s Diynamic Music, Dear Deer and his most recent Remix, Knowhat’s “Tribalistars”, was supported by Black Coffee on the Keinemusik Radio Show and played by Brina Knauss on M2O on the DJMAG Session program.

Three tracks: “Cloud’s Song” – which gives the EP its name, – “Sunset Journey” and “Behind the Sun” with Manu EL, with an Organic House imprint, with a more progressive one.

The lead track “Cloud’s Song” had the support as a dj by Solomun and is an invoilving mix between Organic House and Progressive. With a repetitive drum, it sees a melodic development and then closes with an elongated round of piano, making it very psychedelic.

The second track “Sunset Journey” is 100% Organic House. It was made in collaboration with his longtime friend and percussionist, after working together at the Fidelio evening in Milan, Alex Donati. Matt, on Alex’s main idea, revised the writing of the sounds and drum positions, giving rise to a summery and tropical song, with afro sounds and ethnic nuances.

The third, “Behind the Sun”, sees the collaboration of the song with Manu EL, always active in the world of the night. The basic idea of the song is enriched by the constant piano round, and made more repetitive but with a more emotional pause than the other two tracks of the EP.
