This week #Musicintheair Podcast Villahangar hosts once again its Stereo Beach art project.
Born in 2017, Stereo Beach was created in the beginning for the label need to bet on an artist who touched also extreme genres and that would almost be its forerunner.
It began with “Avilo” remix, Mavee & Airbas’s piece, and then saw different artists over the years: in many past episodes of the #Musicintheair Podcast, – at least twenty in the last year – under the lights of a guest DJ with Stereo Beach mark.
A project at complete disposal of everyone who wants to take part in it, with one only purpose: to give space to less reassuring and more risky musical choices, in a full creative freedom, leaving the protagonist at full speed and pushing him to the most complete imagination. The result: unusual sound emotion and at the same time particularly interesting, beyond every market need.
Stereo Beach arises as a true relief valve, in order to express oneself with the most various genres and with their own passions: from downtempo to techno, going through deep house and chill out.
More artists of Villahangar’s orbit are part of the project, alternating in the productions but mostly in the Podcast’s episodes, between the most appreciated ones to Villahangar’s audience, giving every time an experience different from one another.
Why the name Stereo Beach?
The reference and inspiring concept is represented by a free beach where everyone can identify oneself with what he feels closer to and express oneself at his best.
Who used Stereo Beach as a relief valve over the years?
Developing the project over time different artists alternated, such as Airbas, Andrea, Mavee and other artists in the electronic landscape, each one with his own creative identity. For the future, more will come and they will give their nuance to the project thanks to their very personal imprint.
How was this need born?
Actually everything started with the need to find an eccentric artist who could enclose various genres, who could touch the ones lees explored for choice. We told ourselves: “Why not creating one ourselves who could be the bearer of all our boldest ideas?”. This is were the Stereo Beach idea was born, and then addressed to whoever who wanted to participate.
What should we expect from the future?
For Villahangar it is one of our flagship projects. We surely want to involve as many artists as possible, to make it become a true reference in the music landscape, expressly dedicated to every artist who has that strange need to dare. An relief valve in a difficult time such as the one that we are living it, in order to give the chance to express every emotion and feeling, putting aside the mere market needs but listening only to the personal needs as a human being and artist.
What are Stereo Beach’s three representative words?
Escape, taste, experimentation.
