When and how was your first meeting with music?
I have been in contact with music all my life but I started Djing at 27 years old, for 15 years. I got involved in the electronic music scene in my early 20’s because I loved to dance and after many years I decided to start learning how to DJ, I never stopped since that day.
Your artists / DJs / producers of reference or what advice do you follow?
There are a lot of influences and that changes with time, I am always discovering many good artists and learning from all of them, specially my friends. And also there are a lot of people doing great music.
Where did you play all around the world and who did you share the decks with?
Outside my country I played in Argentina and Chile. I shared Decks with many artists as: Apollonia, Mihai Popoviciu, Toman, Loco Dice, Archie Hamilton, Cuartero, Mateo Dufour, Rossko, S.A.M and many more.
What were your most recent projects and what projects are you part of?
My biggest project at the time is and it will be our label Key Records, I am also running an Artist management Agency, Padlock Artists, and an electronic music school called Musike Academy. I’m also working a lot in producing music.
What are your plans for the present and the immediate future? Do you have any new projects coming up?
I have 2 remixes coming in Possay Music from Chile and Late ninety from Uruguay, and also woking on an EP to be released in bandcamp. Also planning Key records parties in Europe and South America.
What do you think about the electronic music scene of the country you live in? What do you think are the differences with the rest of Europe and the rest of the world?
We are in a strange moment in Uruguay. Big parties are doing great and there are producers as Key Producciones taking things to the next level and doing world class events. But during Covid many clubs closed and there is a lack of spaces for sharing music. Now legendary club Phonoteque is re opening and there also some new clubs opening so I hope everything will settle again.
