A platform that firstly aims to be the stage for the creative ingenuity of the djs that for example encourages everyone’s artistic expression, above all with the aim to offer the possibility to the talent to express itself to and call on a receptive audience.

However, this is not all of an year that proved to be decisive for its artistic career: always on 2016, in collaboration with Ali Farahani, he moreover founded the Pipe & Pochet label, known today as one of the most renowned musical lables in the Downtempo and Organic House electronic music landscape.

Which is the track recommended in this DJ set?

If I were to recommend a track in the mix it would be very difficult since I all love of them. They are soon to be released tracks on the label, as a result this Podcast is currently the only place where you can hear them. Nine of the tracks are original mixes and there is one remix. Since one of the tracks is not like the others I therefore would say start with the remix. 

How do you approach a dj set? Which is your configuration and your way of conveying emotions?

I approach all dj set differently. Above all it depends on what I am doing, where and what the set is for. Therefore I usually play for the specific purpose of the event, podcast etc. In addiction I love playing music no one has played and being up to date with the freshest music. I’m surrounded by serious music people, as a result this keeps me on my toes at all times. 

Which song do you listen to when you take off your DJ headphones?

I mainly listen to electronic music. I’ve been producing a ton of music lately so I try not to listen to a lot of music because I want to keep the creative process fresh. When I take off my headphones I’m in the studio getting creative. 

Which ones were your reference artists over time?

I’ve been fully into electronic music over 11 years now and in other words therefore I’ve explored most of the genres and have dove deep into different artists. I can say I love many different artists. For instance I actively go to events all over the world and like to see many artists play in different locations, so my taste has evolved over time. Name an artist making electronic music in the last 11 years and I’ve most likely heard of them and admire their work. 

Which artists do you currently admire and particularly like in today’s music scene?

Currently I’m really into the proggy vibes. One artist that I currently admire is Patrice Baumel as he is a gem in the electronic music industry. I tend to really admire the artists we are releasing on the label. Having lived through so much music, therefore I admire artists that can make me move to their music after all the styles and music I’ve been exposed too.
