MATT SAWYER

This week Matt Sawyer comes back to #MusicInTheAir’s Podcast as the protagonist. He was Villahangar’s creator back in 2015, together with Andrea Pellizzari.

Matt, besides supporting Andrea in the project, manages the Podcast #MusicInTheAir at 360 degrees and he scouts together with Chris Leon of Everything Counts. He is also the producer and creator of the contents of the Blog villahangar.com.

Villahangar continues to host for the weekly Podcast much more new artists of the international scene, expanding its orbit day by day, together with consolidated ones. On the release side, the year begins in style, for a new season of great news, with many new artists and a lot of truly amazing musical projects.

To welcome the new year 2022, three remixes of the track “Golden Hour” by Jessy Greene & The Axiom. One by Iban Mendoza and another by David Moreno together with Iban Mendoza have been released on Villahangar. The third, by Daniel Trim, has been released Top Town Records, the new label of a strong experimental nature dedicated to indie music, where the sound is enriched with refined electronic influences exploring dance, pop and rock. Top Town Records label is part of the group PP Productions headed by Villahangar, which debuted in the year just ended.

For the remix covers, Villahangar continues its path of artistic collaborations that began last year: the label entrusts the creative signature to the artist Mosè Schwarz, painter, draughtsman and illustrator.

In addition, in the year just begun, another project by the emerging African artist Double Drop will be released on Villahangar: after participating in the Various Artists [#UNDERWATER] of Villahangar in 2020, Double Drop will publish together with the new musical promise Xabizo his new track “Bendingayazi”.
