#MusicInTheAir Podcast hosts this week :
MATT SAWYER

This week Matt Sawyer comes back to #MusicInTheAir as the protagonist. He was Villahangar’s creator back in 2015, together with Andrea Pellizzari. Matt, besides supporting Andrea in the project, manages the #MusicInTheAir Podcast at 360 degrees and he scouts together with Chris Leon of Everything Counts. He is also the producer and creator of the contents of the Blog villahangar.com.

Villahangar continues to be sent on its path, hosting for its Podcast week after week the artists, both new, to keep an eye on, and already well established, of the world scene. And, thanks to a careful scouting and an enthusiastic feedback, the names are always new and continue to increase unabated. Thanks to the interviews we can learn about their professional and personal experience, also discovering the real pulse of the situation of the electronic music scene on the international level.

Also on the release front, the label continues its path: after the two remixes – one signed by David Moreno together with Iban Mendoza and another by Iban Mendoza – of the track “Golden Hour” by Jessy Greene & The Axiom to welcome the new year, Villahangar released on September 9^th “Bendingayazi”, the new track by the emerging African artist Double Drop – who returns to publish with the label after participating in the Various Artists [#UNDERWATER] of 2020 – together with the artist, new musical promise, Xabizo.

For the near future, other unmissable news are coming: it is in fact the work of the Belgian artist Maxi Meraki the third release of 2022, which will take place on September 23^rd with Hayibo EP, and which marks his debut for the label.

In October, there will also be Vice Luna, Mexican, who has now lived in Milan for three years, already a guest of the weekly Podcast last July.

Another year of great news continues for Villahangar, with more and more new artists and numerous truly surprising musical projects. We do not anticipate anything in detail: stay tuned!
